Sculpture

The carved and sculpted horse has been created in wood, then painted in an antique gold. Mr. DiAVonti then sands it finely and burnishes it by rubbing assorted pigments into it. A coating of weatherproof clear diamond resin is applied and then the work is resanded and buffed to a fine, clear finish. The medallion the horse sits on is created the same way.

Dimensions are approximately 2' 11"' x 4' 11". Since each work is custom created, allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Half of the monies are due in advance of the creation, the other half after verification of the finished work. It will then be promptly shipped.

Lost Works Leda

© 2009 Gino DiAVonti The work pictured is a smaller version of a painting done by Michangelo, that had become lost during World War II. Gino has re-created it in stunning sculpture, and made it available to the public. The mold was made by gino himself. The work is approximately 3' x 2and 1/2". Gino hand works each one he pulls off, sanding and buffing to a beautiful matte finish. Since each is only created to order, please allow 6 weeks for delivery. Custom Area Rugs

Mr. DiAVonti's custom sculpted area rugs are built out of only three different types of carpet: Fabrica, Masland, or wool. He will not work in the wool Karastan, as it tends to refuse manipulation. The consumer pays the purchase price for the carpet themselves, (Mr. DiAVonti supplies a cut list) and the bid then, is based entirely on labor. As an example, Fabrica costs approximately 135.00 a yard, and is Mr. DiAVonti's favorite to work in. He insists it is the best synthetic carpet available, and it is produced on the west coast of the states, a plus to supporting our nation's economy.

Mr. DiAVonti needs to either be sent swatches of the fabrics in said room, dimensions of room (architecturally) and measurements of furniture spacing from one another. He will also need swatches of the fabrics being used in order to create a custom designed (set) of rugs. Typically, he makes 3 to 5 rugs per client, to match the living space, dining room, great room, etc.

He can also do all measuring himself in person, which is his preference. In the case this is out of state (Florida) the client must pay for each way, plus board. Consulation fees are 350.00 per hour.

Custom Rugs Rendering Fee

Scale drawings are charged at the rate of $400.00 for no more than 3 rugs. The price is to be paid in full before Gino begins the area rug drawings. The renderings will take anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks to complete. Gino will color at least two sides of the drawing, and possibly more, to match already thoughtful carpet combinations. This fee is non-refundable. If the custom area rugs are ordered, Gino will take the $400.00 off of the total of the price to create the full size area rugs. The drawings will become the property of the purchaser. However, in order to create the rugs full scale, Gino will need to use the originals until they are created. At the finish time, he will return them to their proper owner. In the meantime, Gino will supply the owner of the drawings with a copied set of the drawings.

The drawings and colors, names of manufacturer of carpet types, must be hand signed off on Gino's copy of the drawings by the owner and the designer before Gino will begin work on the custom area rugs.

Custom Car Floor Mats

Gino has made many custom designed and carved Car Floor mats. Color inlays of the car's logo, to your own monogrammed initial, or even bass relief work, Gino can create for you the Car floor mats that will stand out from the others. Contact Gino to give him the details. Set prices follow below. Includes the custom creation of 4 rugs, 2 front and 2 back, except in the case of Sports Cars/2 door cars. Carpet used will be either Fabrica Chez or Masland, or a combination of both. These rugs must be paid for in full in advance of creation. Note second photo below for referencing Bass Relief style work.

Up to 4 Color Custom Designed Floor Mats leave You, the Client, and Me, the Artist, free to do as you/I wish. You can submit your own Rendering to me, and I can duplicate it in the mats. Do You have a Favorite Tatoo or a Drawing from the past that is special to You? Then this is the option You want. I will first fully scale the rendering you submit to the size I need, or I can make you one that you describe to me.

The rendering fees do not apply to the prices listed below, as I only accept full payment in advance for these rugs.
